Class Tuition at Direct Tuition

Direct Tuition provide class tuition for Maths, English and Science for students in Key Stage 2 through to A-Levels and have been doing so since 2004. Over 300 students have graduated through the Direct Tuition programme of study over the years and a majority of students achieved a grade A or A*. Our class tuition lessons take place over three sites in Leicester (Oadby, Evington, and Rushey Mead). We run small group sessions where we are able to cover the syllabus in a fraction of the time compared to school because students are focused on learning. Our students become highly motivated in not only the subjects we teach them, but their attitude towards education as a whole will improve over time.

Students are set regular homework to practice what they learn in class and they are expected to complete for the following lesson. Sometimes students are set homework which they need to complete online, these are automatically marked and students are able to attempt the homework as many times as they wish. In addition to our class tuition, we also provide tuition via Webinar. This is where a class is taught over the internet and students are able to interact and ask questions. We are one of the first companies in the UK to offer such a service.

Our Class Tuition starts in September and runs throughout the year until July and students get holidays during the normal school breaks. To get the most out of tuition you need to start at the beginning of the academic year. During the school holidays we sometime run additional classes for those students who have exams coming up. Direct Tuition also provide Intensive Class Tuition for Schools and customised numeracy and literacy courses for businesses.

• Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) where students are set homework online and can attempt these as many times as they wish
