Class Tuition Services
A majority of the tuition we provide is class based tuition where the students visit one of our three centres located in Rushey Mead, Evington, and Oadby. We keep our class sizes small to ensure student receive more attention and provide a basis for more efficient learning. We offer class tuition in various subjects mainly Maths, English and the Sciences. Tuition is provided for students in primary school through to A-Levels. Our method of teaching is very different to that of schools because our groups are small and behaviour is never an issue. Students should expect to receive homework on a weekly basis which they are expected to complete for the following week. Our students understand that completing homework is the only way they can fully understand what they have learnt in class.
Online Tuition Services
One of the unique services we offer is an online learning platform. We believe we are the first tuition company in the country to offer this as a service. This allows our students to go online and log into their area of the website to attempt questions on numerous topics. Students are sometimes set homework on our learning platform, which we have programmed such that it automatically marks each students work, and no two students receive the same homework.
Intensive Tuition Services
As exam season approaches, we get a large volume of enquiries for which we cannot meet the demand. What we offer is an intensive course in a subject where the student attends for 4 hours per day to study for a particular unit. The content is taught from scratch and ends by practising exam questions. Intensive tuition normally takes place during the Christmas, and Easter holidays.
Exam Techniques
As exam season approaches, we would have completed teaching the syllabus well in advance of it. We lace a huge emphasis on exam techniques and how to approach exams questions. There are many students who understand the content really well but when it comes to exam papers, they struggle to reach their full potential. We generally spend the final 6-8 weeks doing exam practice and revision
Free Invigilated Exam Sittings
We offer free invigilated exam sittings for our students. This is where students come into one of our centres and sit an exam under real exam conditions and receive feedback from us
Private Tuition Services
Although a majority of our work is small group based, we have a number of tutors that are able to provide private tuition if the classes are full or they require tuition in a subject/topic that we do not offer as a class.
Parents Review Day
During school holidays, we have a parents review day where parents are invited to discuss they childs progress in class, homework marks, and create targets for their child to help them improve further. These usually take place in the Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.
